    Indian Version:

The Ant works hard in the withering heat all summer building its house and
laying up supplies for the winter. The Grasshopper thinks the Ant's a fool
and laughs dances plays the summer away.

Come winter, the shivering Grasshopper calls a press conference and demands
to know why the Ant should be allowed to be warm and well fed while others
    are cold and starving.

NDTV, BBC, CNN show up to provide pictures of the shivering Grasshopper
next to a video of the Ant in his comfortable home with a table filled with
    food.

The World is stunned by the sharp contrast. How can this be that this poor
Grasshopper is allowed to suffer so?

Arundhati Roy stages a demonstration in front of the Ant's house.

Medha Patkar goes on a fast along with other Grasshoppers demanding that
Grasshoppers be relocated to warmer climates during winter .

Mayawati states this as 'injustice' done on Minorities.

Amnesty International and Koffi Annan criticize the Indian Government for
not upholding the fundamental rights of the Grasshopper.

The Internet is flooded with online petitions seeking support to the
Grasshopper (many promising Heaven & Everlasting Peace for prompt support
as against the wrath of God for non-compliance) .

Opposition MPs stage a walkout. Left parties call for 'Bengal Bandh' in
West Bengal and Kerala demanding a Judicial Enquiry.

CPM in Kerala immediately passes a law preventing Ants from working hard in
the heat so as to bring about equality of poverty among Ants and
    Grasshoppers.

Lalu Prasad allocates one free coach to Grasshoppers on all Indian Railway
Trains, aptly named as the 'Grasshopper Rath'.

Finally, the Judicial Committee drafts the 'Prevention of Terrorism Against
Grasshoppers Act'[POTAGA] , with effect from the beginning of the winter..

Arjun Singh makes 'Special Reservation' for Grasshoppers in Educational
    Institutions in Government Services.

The Ant is fined for failing to comply with POTAGA and having nothing left
to pay his retroactive taxes, it's home is confiscated by the Government
and handed over to the Grasshopper in a ceremony covered by NDTV, BBC, CNN.

Arundhati Roy calls it 'A Triumph of Justice'.

    Lalu calls it 'Socialistic Justice'.

CPM calls it the 'Revolutionary Resurgence of the Downtrodden'

Koffi Annan invites the Grasshopper to address the UN General Assembly.

    Many years later...

The Ant has since migrated to the US and set up a multi-billion dollar
    company in Silicon Valley ,

100s of Grasshoppers still die of starvation despite reservation somewhere
    in India ,

    ....AND

As a result of losing lot of hard working Ants and feeding the
grasshoppers, India is still a developing country...!!!

  • Friends i know you feel amazed  by reading title of this article but i know you definitely agree with this in the end. If you are doing lot of hard work  then you will never get success. everybody is doing something to earn money like job business. so hard work is required in job and business. Suppose if you like some game like cricket or football and you  will get chance to  play ur fav game during your your work then you will do it????
    Definitely
People start doing 16 hour job if they get there fav game during job.
Take example of small boy who loves cricket  and he is best in his city win many matches. So after 12th his parents wants him to be CA so  can he will become successful  CA. If he Will become CA then the work he is going to do is like hard work for him which he will not enjoy and feel  burden. Then burden lead to frustration and frustration lead to failure. Imagine what happen if he get chance to be cricketer.
So you understand the point what i want to say.
when we are doing something which we don’t  like then after doing 5  min work  it seem like lot  of hardwork.
So basically i want to convey is that start doing something what you like the most.
Follow your dreams and see the reality of your dreams.
Start doing what you like and success will follow you. so even you  don’t feel like hardwork after 20 hours of work. And we are not doing hardwork we are just enjoying and playing.
So in the end start doing something what you like the most. And start enjoying your work. If you are not  enjoying your work then change your work.If you are not doing both then you are leading towards your failure.

  • At some point in the various journeys we embark on in our lives, we get to a part where we feel like giving up. Sometimes we give up before we even start and other times we give up just before we are about to make that huge break-through that we have been putting so much effort in to achieve.
I find list of 22 reasons why you should never give up and I hope that you will find it before you give up, so that I can inspire you to keep going!
1- As Long As You Are Alive Anything Is Possible
The only valid excuse you have to give up is if you are dead. As long as you are alive (and healthy and free) you have the choice to keep trying until you finally succeed.
    2- Be Realistic
The chance of mastering something the first time you do it is almost non-existent. Everything takes time to learn and you will make mistakes. Learn from them.
    3- Michael Jordan
Arguably the best basketball player of all time. He attributes his success to all his failures. He just never gave up even when he knew he had missed over 300 shots and had missed the  winning shot of the game many times. Every time he got knocked down he got back up again.
    4- Lance Armstrong
Lance was diagnosed with serious cancer that had spread throughout his entire body. He had cancer cells the size of golf balls in his lungs. Despite all odds he overcame the cancer and set out to win the Tour de France 6 Consecutive years in a row.
    5- Muhammad Ali
“Float like a butterfly, sting like a bee”. Muhammad Ali is one of the best boxers the world has ever known. He suffered only 5 losses while having 56 wins and was the first boxer to win the lineal heavyweight championship three times. This is a guy who literally knows how to get knocked down and get back up.
6- The Man Who Created The Marathon
Very long ago an Athenian herald was sent to Sparta to get help when the Persians landed in Greece. It was said that he ran 240km in 2 days and after that he ran 40km to announce the victory of the Greeks only to collapse and die on the spot from exhaustion. If you ever feel like things are difficult, imagine what it would be like to run 240km in 2 days. (Don’t try that because you might die from it, but use it as an inspiration).
7- Chris Gardner – The Pursuit of Happiness
Have you seen the movie “The Pursuit of Happiness”? It is based on the life story of Chris Gardener, a man who went for the lowest of the lows in an environment where most people would give up (no money, no job) to the highest of the highs (A millionaire with his own investment firm). If you ever think about giving up, watch this movie!
    8- Kanye West
I’m pretty sure you have heard of the rapper Kanye West. Read his story. He is a big inspiration and proves that you can go from having very little to being among the most famous and respected people in the world.
    9- Nelson Mandela
Campaigned for justice and freedom in his South Africa. Spent 20 years in jail for his opposition to apartheid. On release he healed the wounds of apartheid by his magnanimous attitude toward his former political enemies.
    10- You Are Strong
You are stronger than you think. One little setback is not enough to stop you from achieving your goals. Neither are 10 or 100 or 1000 setbacks.
    11- Prove Yourself
You don’t want to be known as someone that is weak and gives up. Go out there and prove yourself to the world and to yourself. You CAN and WILL achieve what you set out to do. The only time you fail is when you give up.
12- Has It Been Done Before?
If someone else can do it then so can you. Even if it is only one other person in the world that has achieved what you have set out to achieve, that should be reason enough for you to never give up.
    13- Believe In Your Dreams
Don’t sell yourself short. In life there are going to be many people who will try to bring you down and tell you what you want to achieve is not possible. Don’t let anyone destroy your dreams.
    14- Your Family and Friends.
Let the people you love and who mean the world to you be your inspiration to persist and persevere. Maybe you need to try a different angle, study more or practice more but don’t give up!
15- Because I Tell You To.
Not that I am any sort of guru or Godly figure, but if you want to give up then don’t. Just because I’m telling you not to.
    16- There Are People Worse-Off
Right now there are many people who are in a worse situation and environment than you are right now. Are you thinking about giving up running 5 miles a week? Think about the people who are unable to even walk and how much they would give to be able to run 5 miles every day.
    17- Improve Our World
When you achieve whatever you set out to achieve you can use your success to make a difference to the world or other peoples lives.
18- Get Rich or Die Trying
Like Fiddy (50 cent) says, “Get rich or die trying”. 50 Cent is rich, he made it (although he did get shot 9 times). Face your fears and don’t take the easy way out by giving up.
    19- Let The Haters Hate
There will always be haters. There will always be plenty of naysayers  and people who try to tear you down. Don’t pay attention to them and don’t take what they say to heart. Let the haters hate and you keep believing in yourself.
20- You Deserve To Be Happy
Don’t ever let anybody tell you otherwise. You deserve to be happy and you deserve to have success. Keep that mindset and never give up until you reach your destination!

    21- Inspire Others
Be an inspiration to others by refusing to give up. Who knows what someone else can achieve because you never gave up and in turn inspired them not to give up.
    22- You Are So Close
Often when you feel like you want to give up and you are about to give up you are so close to making a huge break-thru. Seth Godin has written an awesome book about this called “The Dip” – a riveting read that teaches that at any given time you are always just a heartbeat away from success.

  • A rich landowner named Carl often rode around his vast estate so he could congratulate himself on his great wealth. One day while riding around his estate on his favorite horse, he saw Hans, an old tenant farmer. Hans was sitting under a tree when Carl rode by.

Hans said, 'I was just thanking God for my food.'

Carl protested, 'If that is all I had to eat, I wouldn't feel like giving thanks.'

Hans replied, 'God has given me everything I need, and I am thankful for it.'

The old farmer added, 'It is strange you should come by today because I had a dream last night. In my dream a voice told me, 'The richest man in the valley will die tonight.' I don't know what it means, but I thought I ought to tell you.'

Carl snorted, 'Dreams are nonsense,' and galloped away, but he could not forget Hans' words: 'The richest man in the valley will die tonight.' He was obviously the richest man in the valley, so he invited his doctor to his house that evening. Carl told the doctor what Hans had said. After a thorough examination, the doctor told the wealthy landowner, 'Carl, you are as strong and healthy as a horse. There is no way you are going to die tonight.'

Nevertheless, for assurance, the doctor stayed with Carl, and they played cards through the night. The doctor left the next morning and Carl apologized for becoming so upset over the old man's dream. At about nine o'clock, a messenger arrived at Carl's door.

    'What is it?' Carl demanded.

The messenger explained, 'It's about old Hans. He died last night in his sleep.'

  • An 85-year-old man who learned that he was dying wrote the following piece:
“If I had my life to live over again, I would try to make more mistakes.  I wouldn’t try to be so perfect. I would relax more and laugh more. I would limber up. I would take more chances, climb more mountains, swim more rivers, go to places I have never been to, eat more ice-creams and fewer beans! I would have more actual troubles and fewer imaginary ones!”
You see, I was one of those people who lived prophylactically, sensibly and sanely hour after hour and day after day.
“If I had to do it all over again, I would ride more merry-go-rounds, I would watch more sunrises, I would play more with my children, be happy and not hold on to debilitating grudges if I had my life to live over again.”
    “But you see, I don’t !”
Isn’t this message a beautiful reminder to all of us? We have to make the most of the time we have on earth. The old man realised that in order to be happier and get more out of life, he just had to change his priorities. The world is already a beautiful place, to enjoy what we already have, we just have to live consciously.
Whenever we are unhappy, if we analyse the reason for our unhappiness, it is because life is not matching our expectations.
Happiness is a decision. Each of us can be as happy as we make up our minds to be. We can, if we want, fill up our days with positivity, animated conversation, chatter and laughter.
To be happy we need to concentrate only on happy thoughts. A friend of mine still gets exercised and breaks down every time she remembers the nasty remark that was made to her by a relative 15 years ago. Let us not be garbage collectors carrying around trash that was thrown at us 15 years ago. The ghosts of the past have to be exorcised.

  • Once a fisherman was sitting near seashore, under the shadow of a tree smoking his beedi. Suddenly a rich businessman passing by approached him and enquired as to why he was sitting under a tree smoking and not working. To this the poor fisherman replied that he had caught enough fishes for the day.

Hearing this the rich man got angry and said: Why don’t you catch more fishes instead of sitting in shadow wasting your time?

Fisherman asked: What would I do by catching more fishes?

Businessman: You could catch more fishes, sell them and earn more money, and buy a bigger boat.

Fisherman: What would I do then?

Businessman: You could go fishing in deep waters and catch even more fishes and earn even more money.

Fisherman: What would I do then?

Businessman: You could buy many boats and employ many people to work for you and earn even more money.

Fisherman: What would I do then?

Businessman: You could become a rich businessman like me.

Fisherman: What would I do then?

Businessman: You could then enjoy your life peacefully.

Fisherman: What do you think I’m doing right now?

MORAL – You don’t need to wait for tomorrow to be happy and enjoy your life. You don’t even need to be more rich, more powerful to enjoy life. LIFE is at this moment, enjoy it fully.

  • Do you know why the earth is shaped like a globe? (Silence)

So you can kick it and it will roll away! (Laughter) From the moment you wake up in the morning you are always with people and your mind is caught up in worldly thoughts. So sometime during the day, sit for a few minutes, get into the cave of your heart, eyes closed, and kick the world away like a ball.

But as soon as you open your eyes, hold onto the ball because you need to kick it again in the next session. (Laughter) During the day be 100 percent attached to the work, don't try to detach yourself. But when you sit for meditation, then totally detach yourself. Only those who can totally detach can take total responsibility.
Eventually you will be able to be both attached and detached simultaneously. Kick the ball and be in the goal!

  • Today imagination of world without women is impossible, Women who act as a mother, wife, daughter, sister and play many more roles in our life and in society. Despite of the fact that we are living in 21st century where moon is like our neighbourhood and we carry whole world in our pockets, In the world of technology we feel shame that still we are not able to change the mind of people those who don't want a girl child.
    God created man and woman.
A child is a gift, it doesn’t matter it is male or female.

Why people don’t want a Girl Child???
I have not got answer of this question since childhood.

Because women can FIGHT Rani Lakshmi Bai showed us
Because women Give you LOVE - Mother Teresa showed us
Because women can SING - Lata Mangeshkar ji showed us
Because women can DANCE - Helen ji showed us
Because women are INTELLIGENT and BRAVE - Kiran Bedi showed us
Because women can Win the Heart of Universe - Sushmita Sen (1st miss Universe from India) showed us
Because women Reached the HEIGHT - Bachendri Pal (who climbed Mt. Everest) showed us

The list is so long that my fingers have started aching. All these women are slap on the face of those people who don't want girl child. There is no Difference between male and female all are same.
So from this article we raise our words against female feticide and need your love and support. Share it with all your friends and one day we will remove this illness from our society.

If we go on like this killing innocent new born girls then there will be no women left in society, and the people committing this crime should think that if there will not be any girl then there would not be any women to give birth to a male child.
    Think About IT
So friends must share it with all your friends

  • Price of petrol and diesel are relatively high INDIA compared to global peers. Government of India and state governments must understand the difficulties facing by common man because of price rice in all sections including groceries, vegetables and all essential commodities and reduce the tax on petrol and diesel to bring it back to affordable levels because every one Rupee rice in diesel will create big holes in common man’s monthly budget.

    Pakistan: Rs: 26
    Bangladesh: Rs: 22
    Cuba: Rs: 19
    Nepal: Rs; 34
    Burma: Rs: 30
    Afganistan: Rs: 36
    India: Rs: 80(in punjab)
why is there a difference within india itself?
More Than 40% of Petrol Prices are due to Taxes.Lets take example of petrol price rs 75 on Average.
    Basic Price: Rs 36.41
    Excise duty: Rs 18.72
    Education Tax: Rs 0.54
    Dealer commission: Rs 1.33
    VAT: Rs 7.003
Crude Oil Custom duty: Rs 1.4
    Petrol Custom: Rs 1.96
    Transportation Charge: Rs 7.64
    Total price: Rs 75

    Petrol Price Game:
    1 barrel = 159 liters
    1 barrel = USD 108
    1 barrel refing cost 15 % = 108 %15 = USD 16
    1 barrel = USD 108+16=124*57= RS.7068/- INR
    ... 1LITER = 7068/159= 44.45 RS ...

TODAYS RATE = 80-44.45 =33.55 ( THINK WHERE IT GOES... ITS A BIGG SCANDLE)

Based on the above calculation the price of crude is only around 36-40% of the total price thhat we pay at the pumps.

so government is making us fool by saying that Petrol Companies are in loss.In the year 2008-9 Hindustan petroleum company had a net profit of Rs: 574.5 crores, similarly in 2009-10 Indian oil had a profit of Rs: 5556.77 crores and Bharat petroleum had a profit of Rs; 5015.5 crores. If these companies had incurred a loss, then where from, they got this profit??

So How Petrol Prices Can Be Reduced
Recently Goa Government reduce the petrol prices by 11 rs.So How it is possible. The way Goa has managed this Rs. 11 reduction is by abolishing (almost) the VAT on petrol which used to be 20%. This is now only 0.1% and it has not been brought down to zero so as to maintain sales records.
So Now We Are having a solution If state government follows Goa's example of doing away with sales tax and VAT on petrol, the fuel will become cheaper by roughly Rs 15 a litre . The reduction will be higher in states that tax the fuel at a higher rate.

So friends Must Share it so that even government feel shame on their action

    Analysis:
This message is a fact. This drug authentication service is provided by Pharma Secure, a global innovator in drug authentication technologies and software. It provides two ways to check the authentication of any drugs, one is through their website portal901099010.com where you simply have to enter the authentication code printed on the back side of the drug, and the other is through your mobile phone by sending the authentication code as SMS to +91 9901099010. The deadline for this mandate is July 2012.
